How a Pons launch works
1. A token launches
A creator launches a token on Pons. It starts on a bonding curve: the price rises as ETH goes in and falls as tokens are sold back.
2. It trades on the curve
Before graduation every buy and sell goes through the curve. NAVI quotes the curve directly and labels the trade Bonding.
3. It graduates, or not
When the curve holds 4.2 ETH the token graduates to a Uniswap v4 pool. Most launches never get there and trade to nothing on the curve.
4. It trades on Uniswap
After graduation NAVI routes swaps through KyberSwap like any other Robinhood Chain token, and the risk check reads the new pool.
What NAVI shows on a Pons token
How much ETH has gone into the curve against its graduation target, read from the Pons contracts.
Once the target is reached the token moves to a Uniswap v4 pool behind the Pons hook. NAVI shows which pool, and follows it there.
Before graduation the liquidity sits in the curve, so there is no LP to pull. After it, the graduation position is held by the Pons launch locker.
NAVI simulates a buy and a sell against the curve itself, so a launch you cannot sell is flagged before graduation.
Pons lets creators add a tax on trades. NAVI reads it from the curve and shows it with the measured buy and sell tax.
The curve's own balance is labelled and left out, so the top-holder figures show how much real wallets hold, including bundled buys at launch.
Before you trade a curve
- Independent launchpad
- Pons is not run by Robinhood or by NAVI. NAVI reads its public contracts on Robinhood Chain and shows what they say.
- Stock-priced curves
- Some Pons curves are priced in a Robinhood Stock Token rather than ETH. NAVI shows them with a notice but never trades them, since buying or selling moves a Stock Token.
- Bonding is not safety
- A curve has no LP to pull, but a creator can still hold a large share, set a tax, or dump on the first buyers. Read the holders and the sell simulation, not only the progress bar.
- Where you can use it
- Pons says its site is not available in the UK or in sanctioned jurisdictions. NAVI's own trading is region-gated too: where trading is unavailable the swap panel is hidden.
Pons launchpad questions
What is the Pons launchpad?
Pons is a token launchpad on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer 2. New tokens trade on a bonding curve until 4.2 ETH has gone in, then graduate to a Uniswap v4 pool. It is independent of Robinhood.
What does the 4.2 ETH graduation mean?
It is the amount of ETH a curve must hold for the token to leave it. At that point the token moves to a Uniswap v4 pool behind the Pons hook, and trading continues there. NAVI shows the progress on every Pons token's page.
Can I trade Pons tokens on NAVI before they graduate?
Yes, from your own EVM wallet. The Robinhood Chain swap quotes the curve directly and labels the trade Bonding. Curves priced in a Stock Token are the exception: NAVI shows them but does not trade them.
How do I check a Pons token before buying?
Open its page on NAVI. The risk check simulates a buy and a sell against the curve, measures the tax, reads the creator tax and the owner's privileges and shows who holds the supply. The honeypot checker page explains the sell test.
Where can I see new Pons launches?
The new Pons launches list shows Pons tokens still on their curve, newest first, with a NAVI risk badge on each row.
Is NAVI affiliated with Pons?
No. NAVI is an independent analytics and trading tool. It is not affiliated with Pons or with Robinhood.
