Swap Solana tokens

Swap Solana tokens with the risk score in view

NAVI's swap panel sits on each token's page, next to its rug check and holder map. Swaps are routed through Jupiter and, for low risk tokens, direct Raydium, Orca and Meteora pools. You see price impact, the route and the NAVI fee (0.25%, or 0.20% on Pro) before you sign.

How a swap routes

What happens between pressing swap and the tokens landing in your wallet.
  1. 1. Pick the token

Search a ticker or paste a contract address. The swap panel is on the token's page, under the chart and above its risk section, so the rug check is on the same screen as the buy button.

  2. 2. NAVI finds a route

Jupiter's aggregator looks across Solana DEXes and can split the order across several pools. For low risk tokens with deep pools, NAVI also quotes Raydium, Orca and Meteora pools directly and compares them with Jupiter's route.

  3. 3. NAVI checks the pair

One side has to be SOL or USDC. If either token is rated high risk, NAVI only lets you trade it against SOL or USDC, so a risky token cannot be swapped straight into another one.

  4. 4. You see the quote

Expected amount out, price impact, minimum received after slippage, the pools the route uses and the NAVI fee, all before you sign anything.

  5. 5. You sign and it lands

Your wallet signs the transaction and NAVI sends it with a priority fee so it confirms quickly, then checks the result on-chain and shows the signature.

What you'll see before you sign

The quote details on the swap panel, and the risk information around it.
Every quote shows:
Expected out
Amount you receive

What the route returns for your amount at current prices, after the NAVI fee.

Price impact
How much you move the price

How far your own order pushes the price. Above a few percent on a small token, you are the one setting the price.

Minimum received
1% slippage on the token page

The least you will get if the price moves while the swap confirms. If it would be less, the swap fails instead of filling badly. The full trade page lets you choose 0.5%, 1%, 2% or your own.

Route
Pools used

Which DEX pools the route uses. A route through several pools is normal for smaller tokens.

NAVI fee
0.25%

0.20% on Pro. Taken from the swap and shown in the quote. Solana network and priority fees are on top, as with any swap.

Risk level
Same page

The token's NAVI risk level, contract checks and holder concentration sit on the same page as the panel. Read them before you press swap.

Why swap on NAVI

Buying a token you just checked

You have run the rug check and looked at the holder map. The swap panel is on that same page, so there is no copying the address into another app and hoping you pasted the right one.

Moving fast on a trending token

Swaps go out with a high priority fee so they are not stuck behind the queue, and the minimum received protects you if the price runs while you confirm.

Sizing a position in a thin token

The quote shows price impact before you sign. If a $500 buy moves the price 8%, that is a sign to buy less or wait for more liquidity.

Trading without a wallet extension

On a phone or a borrowed computer, the NAVI wallet lets you swap without installing Phantom. Just keep in mind that NAVI holds its keys.

Routing, fees and wallets

Routing
Most swaps are routed by Jupiter, Solana's main DEX aggregator. For some low risk tokens with deep pools (at least $250,000), bought with SOL or USDC, NAVI also quotes Raydium, Orca and Meteora directly and weighs price first, then pool depth and risk. A direct route is only used if its price is within 0.3% of Jupiter's; otherwise the swap goes through Jupiter.
Fees
NAVI charges 0.25% on every swap, or 0.20% on a Pro account, shown in the quote before you sign.
Your own wallet
Connect Phantom or any Solana wallet that supports the Wallet Standard. You sign every swap in your wallet, and NAVI never sees your keys.
The NAVI wallet
If you prefer, NAVI can create a wallet for your account. NAVI stores its key encrypted and signs for you, but only transactions its own swap service built for that wallet in the last ten minutes. It is convenient, and it is custodial.
Pairs and risk
One side of every swap must be SOL or USDC. Tokens NAVI rates high risk can only be traded against SOL or USDC. NAVI has no dedicated MEV protection, so keep slippage tight on large or thin trades.
Pro and the swap advisor
Pro adds a swap advisor on the full trade page that checks the trade before you send it, warns about serious problems and suggests a slippage setting. Pro is free while you swap at least $10,000 through NAVI over a rolling 30 days.

Solana swap questions

How do I swap Solana tokens on NAVI?

Search the token in the box above and press Open swap. NAVI opens the token's page at the swap panel. Enter an amount of SOL or USDC, check the quote and press swap. If you are not signed in and have no wallet connected, the panel asks you to sign up first, then brings you back to the same panel.

Is NAVI a DEX aggregator?

NAVI uses one. Swaps are routed by Jupiter, which searches Solana's DEXes and can split an order across pools, and for low risk tokens with deep pools NAVI also checks Raydium, Orca and Meteora directly. What NAVI adds is the risk check around it: the token's risk level, contract checks and holder concentration on the same page, and a rule that high risk tokens only trade against SOL or USDC. The NAVI vs Jupiter page covers the difference.

What are the fees?

NAVI takes 0.25% of each swap, or 0.20% on a Pro account, including Pro earned through trading volume. On a direct Raydium, Orca or Meteora route it is collected in a second small transaction you sign after the swap. You also pay Solana's network fee and a priority fee, capped at 0.001 SOL, which every wallet and swap app charges in some form. The NAVI fee is shown in the quote details before you sign.

Is NAVI non-custodial?

With your own wallet, yes: Phantom or another Wallet Standard wallet signs every swap and NAVI never has your keys. The optional NAVI wallet is custodial: NAVI stores its key encrypted and signs swaps for you, limited to transactions its swap service built for that wallet.

Do I need an account to swap?

You can see quotes without one. To swap, sign up free: once you are signed in you can connect Phantom or another Solana wallet, or use the NAVI wallet. The full trade page, with slippage settings, also needs an account.

Why can't I swap a token for another token directly?

Every swap on NAVI goes through SOL or USDC on one side. For tokens rated high risk this is also a safety rule: you cannot swap one risky token straight into another, so there is always a clear price in SOL or dollars.

Does NAVI protect against MEV or sandwich attacks?

Not with a dedicated service. The minimum received on every swap caps how much a sandwich can take, and a tight slippage setting is the best protection. For large trades in thin tokens, split the order.
