What the Pons launchpad is
The Pons launchpad is an independent memecoin launchpad on Robinhood Chain, the Ethereum layer 2 that Robinhood launched on 1 July 2026. Anyone can create a token for a 0.0005 ETH launch fee. Each launch mints 1 billion tokens that trade on a bonding curve with a 1% fee per trade, and an ETH-quoted token graduates to a locked Uniswap v4 pool once the curve holds 4.2 ETH.
Pons is not made by Robinhood, and NAVI is not affiliated with Robinhood, Pons or pump.fun. The numbers below come from our own reads of the Pons V2 factory contract on 30 September 2026 unless a source is named.
The scale is large. According to CoinDesk, 646,000 tokens were created on Pons between July and early September, from more than 167,000 creator addresses, with nearly 25,000 launched on 2 September alone. On 30 September, DefiLlama listed Pons V2 among the chain's busiest venues with about $37M of 24-hour volume.
How the Pons bonding curve works
A bonding curve is a contract that prices a token from how much of the quote asset it holds. Each buy pushes the price up and each sell pushes it down. The Pons curve starts with a virtual ("phantom") reserve of 1.68 ETH, so the opening price is not near zero, and real ETH builds up on top of it as people buy.
The Pons V2 factory values we read on-chain on 30 September 2026:
- Factory address: 0x7ed598bcef8bd9edd8c97a195c6d13f40801ec7e
- Launch fee: 0.0005 ETH (press put this at about $1)
- Supply: 1 billion tokens minted per launch
- Curve fee: 1% per trade (feeBps = 100)
- Creator tax: optional, capped at 10% (maxCreatorTaxBps = 1000)
- Graduation: 4.2 ETH for ETH-quoted launches; other quote assets use their own per-asset threshold
- Starting reserve: 1.68 ETH virtual
GeckoTerminal indexes pre-graduation Pons curves as pools under the dex name "pons-v2". When NAVI checked DexScreener's API, it did not return a token's pre-graduation curve, and graduated Pons pools showed up as plain Uniswap v4 pairs with no Pons label. KyberSwap routes into Pons bonding curves, so aggregator trades can reach a token before it graduates.
What happens at the 4.2 ETH graduation
When an ETH-quoted Pons curve reaches 4.2 ETH, the liquidity moves into a Uniswap v4 pool that uses the Pons hook. The LP position is held by the Pons launch locker, so it is locked. After graduation the hook takes the trading fee, and press reports say the 1% fee continues after graduation.
A locked LP stops the creator pulling the pool's liquidity. It does not stop anyone who holds a large share of supply from selling into that pool. That is why holder spread matters more than the lock.
Graduation is rare. NAVI counted 567 graduations from 51,046 Pons V2 launches between 23 and 30 September 2026, about 1.1%. The full count, timings and method are in our Pons graduation rate post.
Pons V1 vs V2: what changed
Pons V2 shipped around late July 2026, as reported by Cryptonomist and crypto.news. V2 brought:
- ETH-denominated bonding curves
- Creator payouts in ETH
- Uniswap v4 hooks for graduated pools
- More quote assets
- An optional creator tax
This guide covers V2. Older V1 tokens still exist, so check which factory a token came from.
Pons quote assets and fees
A Pons token can be priced in ETH, USDG (the Paxos-issued dollar that is the chain's main stablecoin) or a Robinhood Stock Token such as NVDA or SPCX. In NAVI's count of launches from 23 to 30 September 2026, 78% used ETH, about 8% used USDG and about 5% used the NVDA Stock Token.
Stock Tokens are information only on NAVI. NAVI never trades them and never routes a swap through one, and Pons curves priced in a Stock Token cannot be traded on NAVI. Stock Tokens are also not available in the United States and are restricted in Canada, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, according to Robinhood's docs.
On fees, the 1% curve fee is on-chain fact. How it is split is secondary: according to Datawallet's summary of Pons's docs, 70% goes to the creator and 30% to the protocol, with 80% of the protocol share used to buy and burn the PONS token. We could not read Pons's own docs because they are geo-blocked from the UK, so confirm the split in the Pons app. CoinDesk reported that burns had removed about 293M PONS, or 29% of supply, by early September.
The creator tax sits on top. A creator can set it anywhere up to 10%, and a token with a high tax costs you more on every trade it applies to.
The snipe-tax exemption and how rug rings use it
Pons V2 applies a 99% anti-bot (snipe) tax at launch. The idea is that bots buying in the first moments pay almost everything back. Creators can also exempt a list of wallets from that tax. That exemption is a known pattern of abuse, not a bug claim: open-source "bundler" tools on GitHub openly advertise using it.
The clearest example comes from the analyst Wazz (@WazzCrypto). Wazz's investigation, reported by CryptoTimes, found one group took at least $18.43M across 53 launches between 10 July and 21 September. In those launches, 15 to 25 wallets were exempted from the 99% tax at creation. Single purchases emptied the curve and controlled 82% to 86% of supply in the opening transactions, and nearly every launch was sniped for 70% or more of supply by bundles of 70 to 200 wallets. The group also deployed several tokens with identical names within a day and announced the real address only after the hype started.
What to look for before you buy a Pons token
None of these checks proves a token is safe. Each one rules out a common way to lose money.
- Opening transactions: see who bought in the first block. One buyer or a tight group taking most of the supply is the exemption pattern above.
- Holder spread: add up the top 10 holders, leaving out the curve, the pool, burn addresses and the Pons locker. A handful of wallets holding most of the float can sell into any buyer.
- Fresh wallets: GoPlus described a Robinhood Chain token factory whose supply sat across many fresh wallets with only 4 to 11 transactions each, per CryptoSlate.
- Graduation speed: in NAVI's count, a quarter of graduations came within about 40 seconds of launch. Speed alone proves nothing, but check who did the buying.
- Creator tax: know the rate before you trade, up to 10% on top of the 1% fee.
- Contract address: copycat tickers and decoy launches are common. Take the address from the creator's own channel and match it in full.
- The Pons site itself: reach Pons only through links in its official channels and check the address bar. Phishing copies of launchpads are common.

Other launchpads on Robinhood Chain
Pons is not the only launchpad on the chain. According to CoinGecko, Artificial Inu launched through LONG (Long.xyz). KyberSwap's source list on Robinhood Chain includes routes named pons-v2, printr, prm-fun, slyng-fun and stonkbrokers-fun-v2. An earlier launchpad, Noxa, reportedly paused in July after bot spam, according to MEXC Learn.
We could not verify the fees or mechanics of these launchpads from their own sites, so we do not compare them with Pons here.
Check a token on NAVI
NAVI is non-custodial: your own wallet signs every transaction. On Solana today you can run a pump.fun token analysis with bonding status and charts, a rug check and bubble maps of holder clusters.
Paste any Pons token address into NAVI's Robinhood Chain token scanner to see curve progress to 4.2 ETH, holder concentration, buy and sell tax, and a Low, Medium or High risk level. Watch tokens still on their curve in new Pons launches, or see how NAVI handles Pons on the Pons launchpad page. To buy or sell on the curve itself, see how to trade the Pons bonding curve.
Pons's site states it does not operate in OFAC-sanctioned jurisdictions or the United Kingdom. If Pons is not available where you live, do not try to get around the block.
Also on NAVI: the honeypot checker for a standalone sell test and token analytics for charts, pools and holders.

Trading on NAVI is not available in every region. Pons curve trading is not offered to users in the United Kingdom, Stock Tokens are information only on NAVI, and you should never use a VPN to get around a regional block.
Not financial advice. Most launches go to zero. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
