pump.fun creator fees vs Pons: the short answer
pump.fun creator fees are 0.30% of trading volume on the bonding curve. After a coin migrates to PumpSwap, the creator share moves with market cap: it peaks at 0.95% between about $85K and $300K and falls to 0.05% above about $20M. On the Pons launchpad the curve fee is 1%, and Datawallet's summary of Pons's docs puts the creator's cut at 70% of it, or 0.70% of volume, paid in ETH.
So on a bonding curve, a Pons creator earns more per dollar traded than a pump.fun creator (0.70% vs 0.30%, if the secondary Pons split is right). After migration, a pump.fun creator can earn more in the peak band and much less at large market caps.
How pump.fun creator fees work
We took pump.fun's fee schedule from its public docs on GitHub, because the fee pages on its website are geo-blocked from the UK.
- On the bonding curve: 1.25% per trade, split 0.30% to the creator and 0.95% to the protocol
- After migration, under about $85K market cap: 1.25% in total, split 0.30% creator, 0.93% protocol and 0.02% to liquidity providers
- Peak creator band, about $85K to $300K: the creator share rises to 0.95%
- Above about $20M: 0.30% in total, split 0.05% creator, 0.05% protocol and 0.20% to liquidity providers
These post-migration tiers are pump.fun's "Dynamic Fees", live since September 2025 on PumpSwap canonical pools. The creator share tapers step by step between the peak band and the top tier. pump.fun can change the tiers, so check the current table before you plan around them.
Two details change who gets paid. Coins paired with SOL or USDC use the standard schedule. Holder-rewards coins can send the creator fee to holders instead of the creator.
How Pons creator fees work
The Pons V2 bonding curve charges 1% per trade. We read that directly from the V2 factory contract on 30 September 2026 (feeBps = 100).
The split is secondary. According to Datawallet's summary of Pons's docs, 70% of the fee goes to the creator and 30% to the protocol, and 80% of the protocol share buys and burns the PONS token. We could not read Pons's own docs because they are blocked from the UK, so treat the 70% as a figure to confirm in the Pons app.
Pons V2, which shipped around late July 2026, moved creator payouts to ETH, as reported by crypto.news. V2 also added an optional creator tax, capped on-chain at 10%. After a token graduates to its Uniswap v4 pool, the Pons hook keeps taking a fee, reported as 1%. Whether the creator share carries on at the same rate after graduation is something to confirm in the app.
Creator earnings at $100K, $1M and $20M of volume
The arithmetic is volume multiplied by the creator's rate. For each case we assume all the volume trades at that one rate. Real tokens move between tiers, so read these as bounds, not forecasts.
pump.fun on the bonding curve (0.30%):
- $100K x 0.30% = $300
- $1M x 0.30% = $3,000
- $20M x 0.30% = $60,000
pump.fun after migration, peak band (0.95%):
- $100K x 0.95% = $950
- $1M x 0.95% = $9,500
- $20M x 0.95% = $190,000
pump.fun after migration, above about $20M market cap (0.05%):
- $100K x 0.05% = $50
- $1M x 0.05% = $500
- $20M x 0.05% = $10,000
Pons bonding curve, 70% of 1% = 0.70% (secondary, confirm in the app):
- $100K x 0.70% = $700
- $1M x 0.70% = $7,000
- $20M x 0.70% = $140,000
Treat the $20M rows as a ceiling test. Most tokens never graduate, and a curve that does graduate rarely stays small while that much volume passes through it. The optional Pons creator tax is left out of the model: it adds creator income, but buyers see it as a cost and many avoid taxed tokens.
Payout asset: SOL vs ETH
The two launchpads pay creators in different assets. For a SOL-paired pump.fun coin the creator fee builds up in SOL. Pons V2 pays creators in ETH.
That matters because your earnings move with the asset. At 30 September 2026 prices (SOL about $118, ETH about $2,670):
- $3,000 of pump.fun curve fees is about 25.4 SOL
- $7,000 of Pons curve fees is about 2.62 ETH
If you want dollars, both need a swap. On Robinhood Chain the main stablecoin is USDG from Paxos, and there is no Circle-native USDC there.
What changes the numbers
Fee rates are the easy part. Volume is the hard part.
- Graduation is rare: NAVI counted about 1.1% of Pons V2 launches graduating in the week to 30 September 2026 (see our Pons graduation rate post), and pump.fun has historically been reported at around 1%
- Buyers check the creator: tax games, snipe-tax exemption lists and concentrated holdings put buyers off. An investigation by the analyst Wazz, reported by CryptoTimes, tied one group to at least $18.43M taken across 53 Pons launches, and traders now look for those patterns
- Rates can change: pump.fun can change its tiers, and the Pons split is not confirmed from its own docs
- Region: both pump.fun and Pons are unavailable in the UK. Do not try to get around either block
For the wider comparison of the two launchpads, see Pons vs pump.fun. If you plan to launch, how to launch on Pons covers the steps and what buyers check.
Another income line: NAVI's Navigator referral programme
Creator fees depend on one token doing well. NAVI's Navigator referral programme is a separate line that does not. It rewards people who refer others to NAVI, and how rewards are earned, the rates and who is eligible are all set out in the Navigator referral terms.
For a creator who already has an audience of traders, it is income that does not rise or fall with any one launch. Read the terms before you promote it.
Check a token on NAVI
NAVI is independent, non-custodial and not affiliated with pump.fun, Pons or Robinhood. On Solana, the pump.fun token analysis shows bonding status and charts, and the rug check and bubble maps show what your buyers will see when they look at your token.
For Pons tokens, NAVI's Robinhood Chain token scanner shows curve progress to 4.2 ETH, buy and sell tax, holder concentration and a Low, Medium or High risk level.
Also on NAVI: the Pons launchpad page for bonding status and curve progress, the new Pons launches list for fresh curves, the honeypot checker for a standalone sell test and token analytics for charts, pools and holders.
For fresh Robinhood Chain data, see how many Pons launches survive and Robinhood Chain volume and fees.

Trading on NAVI is not available in every region. Pons curve trading is not offered to users in the United Kingdom, Stock Tokens are information only on NAVI, and you should never use a VPN to get around a regional block.
Not financial advice. Most launches go to zero. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
