Stock paired memecoins on Robinhood Chain: Artificial Inu and NVDA explained

Stock paired memecoins trade against a tokenised share instead of ETH. Artificial Inu, paired with Robinhood's NVDA Stock Token, is the best-known example on Robinhood Chain. Here is how the pool works, where the extra risk sits and why NAVI keeps Stock Tokens to information only.

What stock paired memecoins are

Stock paired memecoins are memecoins whose main pool prices them against a Stock Token (a tokenised share such as NVDA) instead of ETH or a stablecoin. On Robinhood Chain the best-known case is Artificial Inu (AI), whose principal market pairs it with Robinhood's tokenised NVDA, according to CoinGecko. Holding one means carrying the memecoin's own risk plus the moving price of the share it is priced in.

They are a Robinhood Chain speciality because Stock Tokens live on the same chain as the memecoins. By 1 September, 432 pools paired Stock Tokens with other tokens, as reported by crypto.news and KuCoin.

What a Stock Token is, and who can hold one

Robinhood's docs describe Stock Tokens as ERC-20 tokens that give economic exposure to US shares and ETFs. Legally they are "tokenised debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited" (Robinhood docs). They use an on-chain multiplier to handle corporate actions.

Eligibility is limited:

  • Not available in the United States or to US persons.
  • Restricted in Canada, the United Kingdom and Switzerland (docs); the launch release also lists the UAE and sanctioned jurisdictions.
  • Available in "more than 120 countries" through Robinhood Wallet, per the launch announcement.

Robinhood's official Stock Token list returned 195 assets on 30 September, including TSLA, SPY, NVDA and SPCX. Official names end in " • Robinhood Token", but anyone can copy a name, so the name alone proves nothing. Robinhood's own warning: "Stock Tokens carry a high level of risk and are not appropriate for all investors."

NAVI's position: Stock Tokens are information only. NAVI never trades them and never routes a swap through one.

How a meme and NVDA pool works

A normal memecoin pool holds the memecoin and ETH. A stock paired pool holds the memecoin and a Stock Token instead. In Artificial Inu's case, the other side is tokenised NVDA.

When you buy AI in that pool, you put NVDA tokens in and take AI out. The pool's price is a ratio: how many NVDA tokens one AI costs. To get a dollar price, you multiply that ratio by the dollar price of the NVDA token.

If you start from ETH, a route has to buy NVDA tokens first and then swap them for AI. That is two hops, two sets of pool fees and, for a moment, a position in a tokenised share you may not be eligible to hold.

The same idea applies to launchpads. Pons V2 accepts Stock Tokens as quote assets for its bonding curves, alongside ETH and USDG (crypto.news on Pons V2). In NAVI's on-chain count of 51,046 Pons V2 launches between 23 and 30 September, 2,615 (about 5%) were quoted in the NVDA Stock Token. Most (39,788, or 78%) were quoted in ETH.

Two moving prices: the extra risk

With an ETH-paired memecoin, you watch one ratio against ETH. With a stock paired memecoin, your dollar result depends on two things moving at once:

  • The ratio: AI against NVDA, driven by memecoin demand.
  • The quote asset: the NVDA token's own price, driven by NVIDIA shares.

If the ratio holds but NVDA falls, your AI position falls in dollar terms by the same percentage. If NVDA rises while memecoin demand fades, the two can cancel out, and the chart you watch in NVDA terms can look very different from your dollar balance.

There are other layers too. A Stock Token is a security product with its own issuer, eligibility rules and corporate-action multiplier. Memecoin liquidity sitting in that asset inherits all of it. And concentration cuts both ways: KuCoin and crypto.news reported that around 23% of tokenised NVDA on-chain sat in Artificial Inu's treasury. That is a large share of one asset's supply in one place.

Artificial Inu and NVDA by the numbers

Facts from CoinGecko and on-chain reads, with secondary figures attributed:

  • Contract: 0x2e8c31162b855a2ffa90f6f8634643ad6f111e18 (on-chain name Artificial Inu, symbol AI, supply about 991M).
  • Launch: through LONG (Long.xyz) on Robinhood Chain, per CoinGecko's description.
  • Fees: CoinGecko says creator fees in NVDA go to a community vault, and fees in AI go to burns or locked balances.
  • What it is not: CoinGecko states that AI "does not represent NVIDIA equity".
  • Run: from about $20M on 24 August to a peak above $320M, as reported by KuCoin and crypto.news.
  • All-time high: CoinGecko records $0.3856 on 17 September, roughly $380M fully diluted.
  • 30 September: about $165M market cap, top of CoinGecko's Robinhood Chain Meme category.

Like CASHCAT, Artificial Inu gave back a large part of its peak within weeks. Copycats use its name and ticker, so match the contract, not the symbol.

Update, 5 October 2026: on CoinGecko, Artificial Inu was worth about $131.0M, down 43.8% in seven days and 65.7% below its 17 September high. A Bloomberg report on 2 October said memecoin and Stock Token pairs traded about $217M on 2 September, against $127M of direct Stock Token trading that day. Another pairing, A Meme Coin against the AMC Entertainment Stock Token, is covered in AMC on Robinhood Chain.

Long.xyz and other launch routes

The one fact we can state about Long.xyz is that Artificial Inu launched through it, according to CoinGecko. We have not verified Long.xyz's fees or mechanics from its own documentation, so we do not describe them here. Check any launchpad's docs yourself before using it.

On Solana, pump.fun now supports coins paired with a quote asset other than SOL, according to its public docs on GitHub. For tokenised shares on Solana, see tokenised stocks on Solana.

Regional limits apply on both sides. Pons and pump.fun are unavailable in the UK, and Stock Tokens are restricted in several countries. Never use a VPN or any other way around a regional block.

Why NAVI does not trade Stock-Token-quoted curves

NAVI's rule is simple. Stock Tokens are information only on NAVI. NAVI never trades them and never routes a swap through one. That includes Pons bonding curves priced in a Stock Token: those curves cannot be traded on NAVI.

The reason is practical. A Stock Token is a security with eligibility rules that differ by country, and a route through one would put a tokenised share in your wallet along the way. NAVI stays out of that path. It also flags look-alike tokens that copy a Stock Token's name.

On NAVI's Robinhood Chain scanner, a stock paired token still gets a risk check for information, and you can browse ETH-quoted tokens with full checks on the Robinhood Chain hub.

Before you touch a stock paired memecoin

A short checklist:

  • Confirm you are allowed to hold the quote asset where you live.
  • Match the memecoin contract and the Stock Token contract, not just names.
  • Price it in dollars, not only in the quote asset.
  • Check how much liquidity sits in the stock paired pool versus any ETH pool.
  • Read the memecoin risk checklist and our Stock Tokens vs memecoins explainer.

Where NAVI fits

Check any Robinhood Chain memecoin by pasting its 0x address into NAVI's Robinhood Chain token scanner.

NAVI is independent and not affiliated with Robinhood.

Also on NAVI: the honeypot checker for a standalone sell test, token analytics for charts, pools and holders, the Robinhood Chain trending list with a risk level beside each token and the new Pons launches list for fresh curves.

For fresh Robinhood Chain data, see how many Pons launches survive and Robinhood Chain volume and fees.

Trading on NAVI is not available in every region. Pons curve trading is not offered to users in the United Kingdom, Stock Tokens are information only on NAVI, and you should never use a VPN to get around a regional block.

Not financial advice. Most launches go to zero. Only trade what you can afford to lose.

FAQ

What is a stock paired memecoin?

It is a memecoin whose main pool prices it against a Stock Token, such as Robinhood's tokenised NVDA, rather than ETH or a stablecoin. Your dollar result depends on both the memecoin's ratio to the share token and the share token's own price, so there are two prices moving at once.

Does Artificial Inu represent NVIDIA shares?

No. CoinGecko's description states that Artificial Inu does not represent NVIDIA equity. It is a memecoin whose principal market pairs it with Robinhood's NVDA Stock Token, and whose creator fees in NVDA are routed to a community vault, according to CoinGecko.

What is Long.xyz?

Long.xyz, also shown as LONG, is the launch route Artificial Inu used on Robinhood Chain, according to CoinGecko. We have not verified its fees or mechanics from its own documentation, so check its docs directly before relying on any description of how it works.

Who can hold Robinhood Stock Tokens?

Robinhood says Stock Tokens are available in more than 120 countries through Robinhood Wallet. They are not available in the United States or to US persons, and are restricted in Canada, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, with the launch release also listing the UAE and sanctioned jurisdictions.

Can I trade stock paired memecoins on NAVI?

NAVI treats Stock Tokens as information only. It never trades them, never routes a swap through one and does not trade Pons bonding curves priced in a Stock Token. A token whose only liquidity sits against a Stock Token is shown for information, not traded.
