What is Hood Inu (HI) on Robinhood Chain? In short
Hood Inu (HI) is a memecoin on Robinhood Chain that started trading on 4 October 2026 and climbed hard over the next day. CryptoTimes reported a 316% rise in 24 hours on 5 October and noted that no Robinhood listing or partnership sits behind it. We found no listing either. Robinhood Chain is a public network where anyone can deploy a token, so a name that echoes Robinhood proves nothing.
The real Hood Inu contract is 0xee049979960d5e42b389b941ec45790ca7b6e1f7 (on-chain name Hood Inu, symbol HI, supply 1,000,000,000). NAVI's risk check at 19:13 UTC on 5 October returned High. That label came from market conditions, mainly unlocked liquidity and a token about 30 hours old. The contract checks themselves came back mostly clean.
Everything on this page is a snapshot from the evening of 5 October 2026 and will age fast. For the wider market that week, see our Robinhood Chain memecoins report for 5 October. Not financial advice. Most launches go to zero. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
Hood Inu price, liquidity and volume on 5 October
These figures come from GeckoTerminal, CoinGecko and NAVI's own reads, taken between 19:00 and 19:20 UTC on 5 October 2026.
- Main pool: HI/WETH on Uniswap v3 in the 0.01% fee tier (pool 0x92a4f531f82e1440d6e349bbc2ed42ba389e013f), created at 12:58 UTC on 4 October
- Liquidity in that pool: about $608,000 to $617,000 across our reads
- 24-hour volume: about $23.6M through that pool, roughly 38 times its liquidity
- Trades in 24 hours: 25,403 buys and 15,745 sells on GeckoTerminal. NAVI counted 41,278 trades in its own check
- Fully diluted value: about $33.6M on GeckoTerminal and $38.4M on CoinGecko
- Price path: the pool's first hourly candle opened near $0.0000046 and printed a high near $0.00056 inside the same hour. The price hit a high near $0.044 at 16:00 UTC on 5 October and was about $0.034 at 19:00 UTC, roughly 22% below that high
Charts, pools and holders for the token are on its NAVI token page and in Robinhood Chain token analytics.
Why a 316% gain tells you little on a new pool
Three sources gave three different 24-hour gains on 5 October: about 150% on GeckoTerminal's main pool, about 210% on CoinGecko and 316% in CryptoTimes. Percent changes on a pool this young depend on exactly where the window starts, because the first trades print at an arbitrary price. Hood Inu's main pool opened near $0.0000046. By the end of its first hour the price was about 120 times higher, and by the evening of 5 October roughly 7,500 times higher.
So the useful questions are not how much it rose.
- How much liquidity is there to exit into? About $0.6M here, against $23.6M traded in a day
- Who is trading? Volume far above liquidity usually means bots and repeated round trips, so it says little about real demand. CryptoTimes made the same point about this token
- Is the liquidity locked? NAVI found most of it was not
- Is this the right contract? See the next section
Fresh launches go quiet very quickly: in NAVI's count of 6,931 Pons launches, 93% had no trade by day two. Hood Inu is one of the few new tokens that grew large enough to get listed.
Hood Inu lookalikes: Hood Sword Inu, HOODINU and 69 tokens called HI
CryptoTimes warned that the name overlaps with an earlier Hood Inu token on the same chain. A GeckoTerminal search for Hood Inu on Robinhood Chain on 5 October turned up several separate contracts. None of them is shown to be malicious here. They are simply not the token that jumped.
- Real Hood Inu: on-chain name Hood Inu, symbol HI, 0xee049979960d5e42b389b941ec45790ca7b6e1f7
- Hood Sword Inu: symbol HOODINU, 0xe59d493540a5b467fda09299a62c64c97db28972 (NAVI page), pool created at 14:42 UTC on 4 October with about $210,000 of liquidity and a fully diluted value near $11.6M. A ticker that reads like Hood Inu, with real money behind it
- An older HOOD INU: 0xfdfc889bf45cb0f04a7dcc9ec0b4eb05708cd119, a pool created on 10 July with about $3,700 of liquidity
- Pons launches that use the ticker HI: NAVI's on-chain count found 69 Pons V2 launches with the symbol HI between 22 September and 5 October, 13 of them named exactly Hood Inu. Several sit in pools with $3,000 to $7,000 of liquidity. Pons launches named Hood Inu started on 27 September, a week before the CoinGecko-listed contract was created on 4 October, so being first is not a safe test either. See the Pons launchpad explained for how anyone can launch a token there
HI is a two letter ticker and many launches reuse it. Match the contract address character by character and never search by ticker. CoinGecko's Hood Inu page lists the contract above. Check it against the project's own channel before you trade, and ignore addresses posted in replies or direct messages. Our CASHCAT guide covers the same copycat problem for the largest token on the chain, our AMC guide covers a ticker clash with a Stock Token, and the Pons survival count shows how common reused names are.
Is Hood Inu legit? What NAVI's risk check found
NAVI's Robinhood Chain scanner checked Hood Inu at 19:13 UTC on 5 October 2026 and returned High.
What passed:
- A simulated buy and sell both went through, from NAVI's simulator and from ordinary wallets, including a sell from a second wallet
- Measured buy, sell and transfer tax of 0%
- No owner function and no known privileged functions such as mint, blacklist, pause, fee or limit setters
- Not a proxy, so the code cannot be swapped out
- Source code verified
What drove the High label:
- Most liquidity is not locked. Per GoPlus's LP holder list, 0% of the main pool's liquidity is burned or held in an allowlisted locker
- The token is new: its first pool was about 30 hours old, with 41,278 trades in the last 24 hours
- Holder concentration is unknown, because the recent transfer list covers only 1.7% of supply, so NAVI could not see whether a few wallets hold most of it
How to read that. High is not a verdict that the token is a scam, and a clean contract does not mean the price holds. This contract did not stop a simulated sell. But with the pool unlocked, whoever holds the liquidity position can remove it, and the price can reverse at any time. NAVI never labels a token safe: Low means lower risk, not safe. A check is evidence from one moment, not a promise about the next one. For how the checks work, see our Robinhood Chain token checker guide, or run the honeypot checker on any address yourself.
A 60 second check before you chase a pump like Hood Inu
1. Get the contract address from CoinGecko or the project's own channel, never from a reply. 2. Paste it into a token scanner and read the level and the reasons behind it, not just the label. 3. Compare 24-hour volume with liquidity. A ratio of 30 or more is a sign that bots are doing most of the trading. 4. Check whether the liquidity is locked or burned, and how old the token is. 5. Look at price against the day's high. Buying a candle that already ran 7,500 times from the first trade is a bet on someone else paying more. 6. Decide the size you can lose entirely before you click, and assume you may not be able to sell at the price on screen if the pool is thin.
The launches that look unstoppable for a few hours are where the exits happen, as in the $18.43M Robinhood Chain rug ring. The same habits carry over to Solana: see our memecoin risk checklist and how to spot Solana rug pulls. For the network's own risks, read Is Robinhood Chain safe?.
Check Hood Inu yourself on NAVI
Open the Hood Inu page on NAVI for the live chart, pools, holders and the full list of risk checks, or paste any 0x address into the Robinhood Chain token scanner. The honeypot checker runs a simulated buy and sell on its own, and the Robinhood Chain trending list shows what else is moving with a risk level beside each token, alongside the new Pons launches list and trending on all chains. If you do trade, Robinhood Chain swap shows the cost before you sign and how to buy memecoins on Robinhood Chain walks through the steps.
